Pacific Avenue's Affiliate to Acquire Care.com from IAC
Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Los Angeles, has announced that an affiliate has reached an agreement to acquire Care.com from IAC Inc. Care.com is a prominent platform in the $400 billion family care market, offering services such as childcare, senior care, and housekeeping through its extensive caregiver network.
The acquisition aims to bolster Care.com’s enterprise expansion and consumer marketplace. With Pacific Avenue's support, Care.com plans to innovate its products, expand employer partnerships, and enhance platform experiences.
The transaction, marking the first investment for Pacific Avenue Fund II, is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
