ParTec AG Joins SEANERGYS for Energy-Efficient HPC Advancements

ParTec AG plays a pivotal role in the EU-funded SEANERGYS project, aimed at enhancing energy efficiency in Europe's high-performance computing (HPC) systems. This initiative, supported by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, seeks to tackle the growing energy demands of supercomputing and AI. As part of SEANERGYS, ParTec leads the development of the Dynamic Scheduling and Resource Management (DSRM) subsystem. This component is crucial for optimizing system operations concerning energy use and throughput. SEANERGYS leverages advanced AI to optimize system configurations, reducing energy consumption while boosting application results.

The increasing demand for computational power has escalated energy concerns, evident in supercomputers like JUPITER, Europe's first exascale system. ParTec, with its extensive experience, aims to integrate its ParaStation Modulo suite into SEANERGYS, facilitating real-time orchestration of modular computing environments. The project's goal is to equip European supercomputing platforms with an intelligent software suite that enhances efficiency and throughput.
