Partners Group and Investors Acquire Techem for EUR 6.7 Billion
Partners Group, alongside investors such as GIC, TPG Rise Climate, and Mubadala, has announced the acquisition of Techem. The deal values the international provider of digitally enabled real estate solutions at an enterprise value of EUR 6.7 billion.
Founded in 1952 and based in Germany, Techem serves over 13 million dwellings across 18 countries. The acquisition aims to drive growth through digitization and expansion of Techem’s services. Currently, Techem's submetering solutions contribute significantly to environmental sustainability by reducing energy consumption and emissions.
The transaction marks a new phase following strong growth under a previous consortium led by Partners Group. The new consortium's value creation plans involve modernizing operations and enhancing Techem’s position as a leader in digital submetering solutions in Europe.
The closing of the transaction is anticipated in the second half of 2025, pending regulatory approval.
