Partners Group Appoints Tarak Mehta as Co-Head of Private Equity

Baar-Zug, Switzerland - Partners Group, a leader in the global private markets industry, has appointed Tarak Mehta as Partner and Co-Head of its Private Equity Goods & Products Vertical. Based in Switzerland, Tarak will co-lead with Manas Tandon, focusing on new investments and transformational value initiatives. His appointment reflects the firm's ongoing commitment to an industrial investment approach.

Tarak brings over 25 years of experience, having previously served as CEO of The Timken Company and in senior roles at ABB. His expertise in managing complex industrial businesses across continents is anticipated to be highly valuable to Partners Group.

Recently, the firm has made significant investments, including MPM Products and Velvet Care. With USD 83 billion in assets under management, Partners Group continues to strengthen its position in middle market private equity.
