Games of the Future 2025 Wraps Up in Abu Dhabi

The Games of the Future 2025 concluded after six dynamic days at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Drawing large crowds and global viewership, the event showcased the growing appeal of phygital sports. Organized by Phygital International and powered by ADNOC, it featured over 850 participants from 60 countries competing in 11 disciplines. This includes both tech-centered sports and esports, highlighting the inclusive nature of the event.

Highlights included the Battle of Robots and popular gaming tournaments like Dota 2 and Fortnite. Phygital formats, such as Phygital Football, impressed audiences with their innovative blend of technology and traditional sports elements. The inaugural Middle Eastern competition of VR-Game HADO was a notable milestone.

Broadcast across multiple platforms in 13 languages, the Games set a benchmark for digital-first sports broadcasting. Attention now turns to the next installment in Astana, Kazakhstan, set for 2026. City bidding for future events is ongoing as Phygital International expands globally.
