PIERER Mobility AG Announces 2024 Preliminary Results and CEO Transition

PIERER Mobility AG has released preliminary figures for its 2024 financial year, highlighting a 29% drop in revenues to approximately EUR 1.9 billion. The company also reported a negative EBITDA of around EUR 300 million, attributed to significant operating losses and restructuring expenses. Stock reductions and strategic realignments have been initiated in response to these challenges.

The group faced a decline in motorcycle sales, falling 21% to 292,497 units. Despite this, end customer demand remains robust, with dealers selling around 268,000 motorcycles, maintaining last year's levels. Nevertheless, a 32% reduction in the bicycle segment sales ensued following the sale of the R Raymon brand.

In a leadership shift, Stefan Pierer will transfer his CEO responsibilities to Gottfried Neumeister, continuing as Co-CEO during the restructuring phase. These strategic moves are part of the company's broader plan to stabilize and grow moving forward.
