OPmobility Maintains Stable Q1 2026 Revenue Amid Economic Challenges

Stock price chart of OPMobility (EPA:OPM) showing fluctuations.

OPmobility's Q1 2026 results highlight stable economic revenue of €2,834 million, a marginal -0.4% decline from Q1 2025, excluding currency effects. Consolidated revenue fell by 6.3% to €2,523 million, attributed mainly to currency fluctuations, notably a -€111 million impact from a weaker US dollar.

Despite global automotive production's 3.4% decline, OPmobility outperformed in North America and Asia, with joint ventures seeing an 18.2% revenue growth. The Group's robust diversification strategy is evident as it navigates geopolitical tensions and rising raw material costs, primarily affecting energy and lighting segments.

Looking forward, OPmobility aims to expand its Chinese joint venture, YFPO, and explore acquiring a stake in Hyundai Mobis' lighting business by 2026's end. The company stays vigilant of Middle East developments and their effect on the automotive sector.
