PNE AG Secures Success in German Wind Energy Tender
On May 1, 2026, PNE AG achieved success in Germany's Federal Network Agency tender for onshore wind energy, securing two project awards. Cumulatively, these projects have a capacity of 108 MW. The awarded projects are the "Beerfelde" wind farm in Brandenburg and the "Hassendorf" repowering project in Lower Saxony.
The "Beerfelde" wind farm, with 100.8 MW capacity, is complemented by plans to integrate a green electricity storage system. This aligns with PNE's strategy of developing hybrid plant combinations. Meanwhile, the "Hassendorf" project, awarded a contract for its 7.2 MW capacity, signifies continued success in this location following previous awards in 2025.
These awards bolster PNE's project pipeline in Germany, reinforcing its role in expanding renewable energy. COO Roland Stanze highlights the significance of these awards amidst an oversubscribed tender round.
