PNE Group Secures Wind Farm Tender in France

PNE Group has triumphed in a competitive tender process in France for the "Oinville-Saint-Liphard" wind farm. The project will feature four wind turbines with a combined capacity of 22 MW. This success highlights France's significance as a core market for the company.

The tender was part of a new wave of energy projects under the PPE2 programme. In total, 144 bids were submitted, totaling 2.38 GW in capacity. The project in the Centre-Val de Loire region was one of 39 awarded, contributing to 808 MW of newly approved wind energy capacity.

The Chief Operating Officer of PNE AG, Roland Stanze, emphasized the achievement as proof of the strong performance of their French team. This follows closely on the heels of the successful sale of the "Romescamps" wind farm. The French government resumed the tender process earlier this year when the "Oinville-Saint-Liphard" approval was obtained in May.
