Porsche Delivers 279,449 Sports Cars in 2025 Amidst Challenges
In 2025, Porsche AG delivered 279,449 sports cars globally, a 10% decrease from the prior year. The decline aligns with Porsche’s strategy to focus on value over volume amidst supply challenges and shifting market demands.
Despite the dip, the Macan model led with 84,328 units sold, marking a 2% increase, half of which were fully electric. The 911 sports car set a new delivery record with 51,583 units. Electrification efforts saw success, with 34.4% of cars delivered in 2025 being electrified, pushing Porsche to the upper target range for electric vehicles.
Regionally, North America topped sales with 86,229 deliveries, consistent with last year. However, China and Europe saw significant declines due to challenging market conditions and supply gaps.
Porsche aims to maintain its “value over volume” strategy in 2026, with planned product innovations and enhanced customization services to better meet customer preferences.
