Porsche Sells MHP to Tata Consultancy Services

Porsche AG has finalized an agreement to sell its management and IT consultancy, MHP, to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This sale marks a further step in Porsche's "Sportwagenschmiede 35" strategy, signaling a focus on its core automotive business. The transaction aligns with a planned strategic partnership between Porsche and TCS, aiming to enhance digital and AI solutions.

TCS will acquire MHP entirely, pending regulatory approvals. MHP will maintain its brand and operate independently under TCS, part of the Tata Group. Porsche and MHP intend to continue collaborating on digital transformation, leveraging AI in automotive advancements.

K. Krithivasan, CEO of TCS, highlights the synergy between TCS's tech capabilities and MHP's consulting expertise, aiming to drive innovation across Porsche's operations. The acquisition is set to enhance MHP's global innovation and growth prospects. MHP, headquartered near Stuttgart, employs over 4,500 people.
