Poxel Records Positive Turnover amidst Financial Statement Postponement

Poxel SA announced a significant 32% increase in net sales of TWYMEEG® in Japan, reaching 2.9 billion yen in the second quarter of 2026. This growth continues into the first half of 2026, with net sales hitting 5.2 billion yen, a 34% year-on-year increase. Poxel reported consolidated revenue of €1,237,000 for the quarter, primarily driven by royalties from its partnership with Sumitomo Pharma.

Despite these positive sales figures, Poxel disclosed a delay in publishing its 2025 financial statements due to complexities in debt valuation under IFRS standards. This postponement includes the deferment of the 2025 Annual General Meeting.

Looking forward, Poxel anticipates receiving a 12% royalty from TWYMEEG® sales, pending Sumitomo Pharma's forecast of exceeding the 10-billion-yen sales milestone, which could result in a contractual bonus for Poxel. Meanwhile, the company focuses on addressing debt-related obligations following its agreement with OrbiMed.
