PPC Renewables Orders 100 MW from Nordex Group in Greece

In December 2024, PPC Renewables, a subsidiary of PPC Group, placed an order for 19 N149/5.X turbines with the Nordex Group in Greece. These turbines, featuring hub heights of 100 meters, will be used across three projects totaling 100 MW nominal capacity. The order includes a Premium Service for turbine maintenance over 20 years.

The projects will be located in Rodopi, Livadaki, and Timenio, regions spread across northern Greece and the Peloponnese. Upon completion in 2026, these wind farms are expected to generate over 280 GWh, helping to prevent more than 142,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

This order has pushed Nordex past the 1 GW milestone of turbines sold in Greece. Patxi Landa, Nordex Group's CSO, highlighted the company's strengthened position in the Greek market and the technological benefits for PPC's wind farms through the Delta4000 series.
