Primary Hydrogen Corp. Expands with Wallace Project in Nova Scotia
Primary Hydrogen Corp. has announced staking the Wallace Natural Hydrogen Project in Nova Scotia. This new venture adds to its Cumberland Basin presence, covering approximately 1,101 hectares with four exploration licenses. It follows their earlier Northumberland Project, bringing their total holdings to 2,267 hectares.
The Wallace Project is situated along the northern margin of the Cumberland Basin. The area holds significant potential due to its geological features—Windsor Group evaporites and reactivated basin-margin faults—which could facilitate natural hydrogen migration.
Currently, Nova Scotia is developing a regulatory framework to manage natural hydrogen projects. Although the framework is not yet active, Primary's licenses await regulation under this prospective structure. Exploration methodologies for natural hydrogen, an emerging resource, remain under development.
