ProCredit Reports Strong Loan Growth and Stable Financials in H1 2025

ProCredit Holding AG has announced robust financial results for the first half of 2025, highlighting significant loan growth and a stable financial position. The group's loan portfolio expanded by EUR 504 million or 7.2%, primarily driven by increased lending to micro and small enterprises and private clients. This growth aligns with ProCredit's ongoing balance sheet transformation strategy.

The group's interim profit reached EUR 47.0 million, translating to an annualised return on equity of 9.0%, while the cost-income ratio stood at 70.9%, reflecting strategic investments in growth initiatives. ProCredit's Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital ratio remained strong at 13.1%, indicating a solid capital position.

Despite challenges in some regions and a decrease in net interest income due to lower policy rates, the company maintained a low cost of risk, supporting its portfolio's quality. ProCredit's management is optimistic about achieving its 2025 growth targets, with a projected loan portfolio increase of around 12%, while keeping the CET1 capital ratio at approximately 13%.
