Rayan Cherki Transfers to Manchester City for €42.5M
Football prodigy Rayan Cherki has left Olympique Lyonnais to join Manchester City. The deal is worth €42.5 million, including €6 million in bonuses and a potential 15% share of future capital gains. Arriving at Lyon at the age of seven, Cherki impressed with his technique and talent.
During his 185 appearances for OL, he scored 29 goals and provided 45 assists. His 2024-2025 season was remarkable: 8 goals, 11 assists, multiple Ligue 1 awards and a Europa League distinction.
At 22, after a promising career with the French national team, Cherki continues his adventure in the Premier League. OL expresses gratitude and wishes the best to its former player.
