Record Global Participation in TERA-Award Competition
The 4th TERA-Award Smart Energy Innovation Competition, organized by The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) with support from Full Vision Capital, has set a new record with participants from 62 countries. As the 9 April 2025 deadline nears, global innovators in renewable energy, energy storage, and smart city technologies are encouraged to submit their applications.
This edition has already received 417 applications, demonstrating significant interest in energy innovation. Renewable energy leads with 112 submissions, followed by smart city solutions, emphasizing a global shift towards sustainable energy infrastructure.
Alan Chan Ying-lung, Executive Chairman of the TERA-Award Organising Committee, highlighted the competition's role in showcasing innovative energy solutions worldwide. He noted the vital support for startups, pointing to previous successes like i2Cool and Luquos Energy.
The competition provides a platform for startups to gain industry recognition and secure strategic partnerships, furthering the universal commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
