Record Participation in ENGIE's 2026 Employee Share Ownership Plan
ENGIE has concluded its LINK 2026 employee share ownership plan with record participation. Running from June 3 to 17, 2026, the plan saw 51% employee involvement, a 10% increase from the previous year. This reflects growing interest in share ownership and confidence in the company's strategy.
With over 39,000 subscribers across nearly 30 countries, the plan raised €93 million. Employees acquired nearly 4.3 million shares at a price reduced by 20%, setting the subscription price at €21.71 per share. ENGIE also provided a company matching contribution.
The scheme, now annual, highlights ENGIE's commitment to involving employees in its long-term value creation. By the end of 2026, employees will hold around 4% of the company's share capital. In France, nearly 70% of eligible employees participated.
