Recticel Group Ranks in Financial Times' Top 100 Climate Leaders
Recticel Group has earned a spot in the Financial Times list of Europe's Climate Leaders for the first time, securing the 89th position among 600 European companies. Within the Construction & Building Materials sector, it achieved a ranking of 10th out of 48 companies, highlighting its significant efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The annual list, created by the Financial Times and Statista, assesses companies based on their reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and their sustainability reporting practices. This recognition aligns with Recticel's strategic initiative, ELEVATE 2030, which focuses on reducing its carbon footprint.
Recticel Group recently commissioned a EUR 13 million recycled polyol plant in Belgium, converting polyurethane waste into recycled polyol for insulation boards, aiming to lower the product's carbon footprint significantly.
