Japan Dominates Red Bull BC One 2025 with Historic Home Victory
In a landmark achievement, Japanese breakers B-Boy Issin and B-Girl Riko emerged victorious at the Red Bull BC One 2025 World Final. The event, hosted at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Arena, marked the first instance in history that both world titles were claimed by a single nation on home soil.
Issin and Riko's triumph came after intense head-to-head finals, with Issin defeating compatriot B-Boy Haruto and Riko overcoming B-Girl Nicka from Lithuania. Their victories were celebrated by over 7,700 fans, highlighting a significant moment in the competition's 22-year history.
This year, 32 top breakers from around the globe participated in the event, aiming to showcase their skills through creativity and precision. The competition followed a global series of cyphers across 67 cities, leading to the ultimate showdown in Tokyo.
