Onco-Innovations and Redwood AI Secure Grant for AI Oncology Platform

Onco-Innovations Limited, alongside Redwood AI Corp and other academic partners, has been awarded a grant from the Digital Health Innovation Fund, managed by the Terry Fox Research Institute. The grant supports the development of SynoGraph, an AI-driven oncology platform. The project benefits from proprietary data integration and physicochemical modeling by Redwood AI, and aims to predict clinical outcomes using AI technologies.

SynoGraph seeks to incorporate federated learning and causal AI to improve clinical predictions, ensuring privacy and promoting collaboration. The Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre and the Centre de recherche du CHU de Québec-Université Laval will provide crucial data for the project.

This initiative aims to push boundaries in therapeutic innovation through a $3.5 million budget, with Redwood AI's technology playing a pivotal role in expanding SynoGraph's predictive core. The partnership highlights Canada's capabilities in combining AI expertise with multimodal data to enhance cancer research and potential treatment strategies.
