Redwood AI Partners with Aidos Innovations to Combat Fentanyl Crisis in B.C.
Redwood AI Corp. has announced a two-year collaboration with Aidos Innovations to develop an AI-powered platform aimed at addressing the fentanyl crisis in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. The initiative, called “Track and Trace,” focuses on detecting and predicting opioid activity through AI-supported tools. By collaborating with local law enforcement agencies and the Canada Border Services Agency, the project aims to strengthen regional responses and enhance public safety.
The collaboration will involve creating a system that offers timely information on opioid activities, backed by analytic dashboards and intelligence reports. It will be rolled out in stages, starting with prototype systems before integrating live data. Redwood retains its platform rights, while Aidos maintains ownership of its proprietary data. The partnership aims to provide public safety agencies with better tools to predict and mitigate emerging drug threats.
