BlackRock Frequently Below the 5% Threshold at Renault
On March 18, 2026, BlackRock Inc., a New York-based asset management company, crossed the 5% threshold of Renault's share capital, holding 5.06% of the capital and 3.70% of the voting rights. These 14,973,353 shares were acquired in part as collateral.
On March 19, 2026, BlackRock subsequently announced that it had crossed below the same threshold, now holding 4.59% of the share capital and 3.35% of the voting rights. This change resulted from a sale of shares on the market and a reduction in the shares held as collateral.
These fluctuations show how complex financial transactions, including securities lending and contracts for differences, influence the level of participation of large funds in listed companies.
