Revolve Renewable Power to Acquire U.S. Wind Project
Revolve Renewable Power Corp. announced its plans to acquire a 9.6 MW operating wind energy project in the United States. The deal involves purchasing 95% of the project for $10.5 million. The wind farm, comprising six 1.6 MW turbines, is expected to add significant recurring revenue to Revolve’s portfolio, projecting $2.2 million in revenue and $885,000 in EBITDA in its initial year.
Supported by a term sheet with RE Royalties Ltd., Revolve will secure an $8 million loan to fund the acquisition. CEO Myke Clark highlights this move as a critical milestone in their North American expansion strategy. The project, which operates under a Power Purchase Agreement, is also eligible for U.S. federal production tax credits until 2031.
The acquisition will enhance Revolve's portfolio, totaling 22 MW of operational assets. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is slated for completion in Q2 2025.
