Ringmetall Reports Growth Amid Tense Market Conditions
Ringmetall SE announced a solid start to 2025, reporting a 6.2% increase in group revenue, reaching EUR 48.5 million. This growth comes amidst a challenging market, attributed mainly to recent acquisitions, despite reduced demand and lower raw material prices.
However, EBITDA fell by 4.9% to EUR 5.9 million, with the margin slightly decreasing to 12.2%. The company's closure systems sector faced subdued demand, but material optimization helped maintain stable EBITDA levels compared to last year.
The Liner division saw significant revenue growth due to the acquisition of Peak Packaging, FIB Beer Systems, and Hutek Oy. CEO Christoph Petri noted the economy slightly calmed, but challenges persist.
The company reaffirmed its annual guidance, expecting revenue of EUR 180-200 million and EBITDA of EUR 21-28 million, pending further updates based on raw material prices and prospective acquisitions.
