Stock price chart of ROCHE BOBOIS (EPA:RBO) showing fluctuations.

Roche Bobois SA announced first quarter revenue for 2026 at €87.1 million, reflecting a decrease of -5.6% at constant exchange rates, or -8.6% when considering current exchange rates. The downturn aligns with prior expectations amid challenging global economic conditions.

In March, directly operated stores saw a recovery in sales, particularly in the US/Canada region and Overseas, due to successful promotional events. As a result, this segment rebounded to a positive 1.1% growth in sales. The cumulative retail sales for directly operated stores reached €97.2 million, a decline of -10.6% at current exchange rates.

Of note, Cuir Center experienced growth, recording a 13% increase in sales, counteracting some negative trends. Conversely, Europe (excluding France) faced steep declines, with the UK, Germany, and Spain each contributing to lower figures.

The Group anticipates similar trends to persist into Q2, with potential for currency effects to become more favorable. Roche Bobois remains resilient, leveraging its variable-cost business model to mitigate volume impact.
