Rockwell Automation Introduces FactoryTalk Design Workbench
On October 28, 2025, Rockwell Automation, Inc., a leader in industrial automation, announced the launch of FactoryTalk Design Workbench, a new free software tool aimed at enhancing micro control systems. This software, which is tailored to work with Micro800 controllers, offers a cohesive platform for programming, configuring, and troubleshooting.
FactoryTalk Design Workbench is particularly beneficial for machine builders and manufacturers developing compact systems. The software addresses typical industry challenges by providing a streamlined process from programming through deployment, accommodating multiple devices simultaneously. Key features include a modern design environment for quick onboarding, improved download speeds, and support for Micro810 and newer Micro800 Lx0E controllers.
The software, now available through Rockwell's Product Compatibility & Downloads Center, is expected to expand its support with annual updates. Rockwell Automation will showcase this software at its Automation Fair event in Chicago from November 17-20, offering hands-on experiences.
