Roctool at K-Show 2025: Reducing cycle times for high-temperature molding
At K-Show 2025, Roctool presented a significant advancement in high-temperature molding. Demonstrating its technology at the Roctool booth in Hall 15, C41, the company showcased its ability to drastically reduce cycle times for PEI and PEEK materials at temperatures exceeding 200°C. Thanks to its new ultra-compact induction generators, Roctool is exhibiting 10 mm optical lenses, reducing cycle time by 50% compared to conventional methods.
This improvement is made possible by induction heat and cool technology, which also offers superior surface quality and reduced energy consumption. Molds can reach temperatures of 300°C, enabling complex designs with thin walls. By showcasing PMMA and PC lenses, Roctool demonstrates a 50% reduction in cycle time, opening up opportunities for cutting-edge optical applications.
