Roctool innovates at K-Show 2025 with reduced molding cycles
Roctool unveiled significant technological advances at K-Show 2025, highlighting the reduction of cycle times for high-temperature castings. With its Heat & Cool technology, the company uses induction to achieve mold temperatures of up to 300°C. This results in shorter production cycles, superior surface quality, and reduced energy consumption.
Demonstrations at the Roctool booth include molding PEI and PEEK resins, with a 40% reduction in cycle time. The new solutions allow for the molding of PMMA and PC optical lenses with a 50% gain. This innovation is distinguished by moderate energy consumption and consistent quality of the parts produced.
These achievements are part of strategic partnerships with players such as KraussMaffei and materials supplied by SABIC and SYENSQO. Roctool continues to push the boundaries of traditional thermal processes with clean and safe solutions.
