On September 19, 2025, Safran announced a new agreement with an investment services provider to execute a share buyback for cancellation. This tranche involves repurchasing shares up to a ceiling of 500 million Euros, commencing on September 22, 2025, and concluding by December 5, 2025. This buyback is part of a larger initiative totaling 5 billion Euros, set to run from 2025 to 2028, contingent on shareholder approval at annual meetings.

Earlier in 2025, Safran completed two tranches for 850 million Euros. In April, it also canceled treasury shares worth 50 million Euros. This activity underscores Safran's strategy to manage its capital structure actively. Safran, a leader in aviation, defense, and space markets, generated 27.3 billion Euros in revenue in 2024, and is listed on the Euronext Paris stock exchange, participating in the CAC 40 and Euro Stoxx 50 indices.
