SAPMER's revenue is down, but the margin remains stable
In the first half of 2026, SAPMER recorded revenue of €29.4 million and EBITDA of €5.2 million, despite a 23% decrease in activity compared to the previous year. This decline is primarily due to lower unloaded volumes. The EBITDA margin was maintained at 18% thanks to positive sales price trends and rigorous cost management.
The Fisheries business, representing 94% of revenue, suffered from a decline in Patagonian toothfish and lobster volumes, partially offset by higher prices. At the same time, the Distribution and Marketing business grew by 24%, thus strengthening the Group's commercial presence.
SAPMER sold its tuna fishing business in September 2026, a transaction that negatively impacted the consolidated net result, which reached -€13.1 million. However, this sale represents a major strategic step for the group.
