SBF AG Secures Contract with PESA for Krakow Trams
SBF AG, a specialist in rolling stock, lighting, electromechanics, and sensor technology, has announced a new contract with PESA, a prominent Polish rolling stock manufacturer. The agreement involves outfitting new trams for Krakow, valued at approximately 6 million euros. SBF is set to supply interior ceilings, lighting, and support structures for 90 tram vehicles in various configurations. Production is planned to begin soon, with first deliveries expected by March 2027, extending through 2030.
Robert Stöcklinger from SBF AG's Management Board highlighted the partnership with PESA as proof of SBF's service quality and reliable systems expertise. This contract marks their second collaboration, following a previous tram project in Leipzig. SBF anticipates further opportunities in tram interior design projects with PESA.
