SCHOTT Pharma Expands Sterile Cartridge Production in Hungary

SCHOTT Pharma is set to invest over EUR 100 million to expand its sterile cartridge production in Lukácsháza, Hungary. The move follows the establishment of a facility for prefillable glass syringes in 2024 and aims to bolster manufacturing capacity for high-value solutions. This investment aligns with the company's growth strategy, primarily to address increasing demands in treating diabetes and obesity.

The new facility will integrate state-of-the-art machinery and eco-friendly processes, creating over 100 new jobs. This expansion underscores Lukácsháza's strategic importance in SCHOTT Pharma's global supply network and is supported by the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
