SEMCO Technologies Expands Production Capacity in Montpellier

SEMCO Technologies has announced an enhancement of its production capabilities at its Montpellier site to support future growth. Funded by its majority shareholder, the expansion aims to meet increasing demand for semiconductor components, ensuring the company's growth trajectory in the medium and long term.

The company has already initiated automation processes, with plans to further automate its eChuck production by 2026. This will enhance productivity and process reliability. Additionally, SEMCO will gain exclusive access to a 900 m² facility close to its current location.

This new facility may include cleanroom and controlled-environment spaces, potentially doubling SEMCO’s production capacity. The associated investment is estimated at €5 million, should the company proceed with developing this facility.
