SFC Energy AG Releases 2025 Sustainability Report Highlighting ESG Progress
SFC Energy AG, a leader in hybrid energy systems, has published its audited Sustainability Report 2025. The report reveals significant strides in meeting ESG goals and a strengthened commitment to transparency. Prepared under the VSME framework, this is SFC's second audited report, boosting reporting credibility.
The report shows that renewable electricity use rose to 69%, recyclable packaging reached 74%, and women in senior management grew to 45%. Despite business expansion, emission intensity remained stable, showcasing scaling efficiency. Notably, SFC's emissions pathway aligns with the Paris Agreement.
The company achieved a 'B' rating from CDP for SME climate disclosure, reinforcing its data governance and ESG credibility. SFC's ESG efforts received favorable ratings from S&P, reflecting progress in governance and risk management.
SFC has sold over 90,000 fuel cells, significantly contributing to decarbonizing energy supplies. Estimated avoided emissions range from 5,000 to 8,000 tCO₂e, based on modelled scenarios.
