On October 14, 2025, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, visited the Government of Sharjah Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai. The pavilion, themed 'Powered by Tech, Driven by People,' showcased innovative digital projects by 20 government entities, emphasizing Sharjah's human-centred digital future vision.
Key focuses included four ecosystems: Digital Experiences, Environmental Sustainability, Smart Cities, and Our Humanity, all demonstrating AI-driven solutions. The event also featured the Sharjah Digital Hackathon, aimed at boosting innovation and empowering youth through AI-powered urban solutions.
Notable highlights were the Digital Sharjah Assistant for streamlined government transactions, the Aqari Platform for real estate services, and Empower Gov AI, enhancing productivity across sectors.
