Showroomprivé Faces Revenue Decline Amid Growth Initiatives

Stock price chart of SHOWROOMPRIVE (EPA:SRP) showing fluctuations.

Showroomprivé, a European leader in online event sales, reported a significant decline in revenue for the first half of 2025. The company recorded a Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) of €440 million, down 11.9% compared to the previous year, and net revenue decreased to €276 million, a 13.4% drop. This downturn was primarily influenced by a reduction in traditional business activity in France.

Despite these challenges, Showroomprivé saw growth in strategic areas. The Marketplace experienced a 33.7% increase in GMV, driven by expansion into Belgium, Portugal, and Spain. The Bradery division also reported strong growth of 15.4% in GMV. Nevertheless, the Fashion and Home divisions suffered significant declines, affecting overall performance.

Showroomprivé is undertaking a strategic review to adapt to the evolving market and will present a new plan by the end of 2025. The company remains focused on controlling costs and optimizing inventory to navigate the current business climate.
