SHS Capital Sells Digital Health Pioneer Selfapy to MEDICE

SHS Capital, along with co-investors, has sold Selfapy GmbH to MEDICE Health Family, a leader in ADHD therapy. Selfapy, founded in 2016, provides digital therapeutic solutions for mental health issues like depression and anxiety. The company’s therapeutic programs, developed by clinical psychologists, are accessible online via an app and are covered by Germany’s health insurance system.

This acquisition aligns with MEDICE’s strategy to expand beyond pharmaceuticals into digital health solutions. Dr. Katja Pütter-Ammer, Managing Partner at MEDICE, emphasized the importance of supporting healthcare professionals and patients both during and between therapy sessions. Selfapy CEO Adham Kassab highlighted the potential to reach more patients quickly.

Dr. Cornelius Maas of SHS Capital expressed satisfaction with the establishment of Selfapy in the German healthcare market, citing MEDICE as an ideal partner for its future growth.
