SIG Group AG: H1 2026 Financial Performance Overview

SIG Group AG reported its H1 2026 financial results, noting a slight revenue increase at constant currency and a rise in adjusted EBIT margin from 14.8% to 15.6%. Revenue remained strong, particularly in the Aseptic carton segment driven by growth in China and the Americas. Despite challenging market conditions, including Middle East conflicts affecting trade, SIG upheld its financial guidance for the year.

CEO Mikko Keto highlighted the company's ability to weather raw material and freight cost surges while enhancing efficiency. For the Americas, revenue grew by 2.9%, aided by strong Aseptic carton demand. However, Europe saw a 3.1% revenue decline due to lower juice market volumes. The company focuses on aseptic system solutions, anticipating further growth opportunities.

Adjusted net income slightly decreased to €133.3 million, whereas free cash flow improved, showing a negative €32.2 million compared to previous negative €139.8 million. SIG’s capital expenditure reflected strategic investments in its Mexican plant. The debt leverage ratio held stable at 3.0x.

The company remains confident in its 2026 outlook, predicting stable revenue growth and a maintained EBIT margin. Continued investment in efficiency and strategic focus on packaging solutions is set to drive future performance.
