Silver Tiger Advances El Tigre Construction in Sonora

Silver Tiger Metals Inc. has reported progress on its El Tigre Stockwork Project, located in Sonora, Mexico, which is on schedule for its first silver and gold pour in late 2027. Construction began in early 2026, and significant advancements include detailed engineering completion at 70% and procurement of long-lead items. The site hosts a workforce of 285, and the permanent man camp is nearing completion at 72%.

With a capital budget of US$124 million, the corporation has already committed US$72 million and has sufficient funds to complete construction. Earthworks are underway, and significant structures like the heap leach, ponds, and process plant platforms have reached significant completion stages.

Upcoming milestones include finalizing concrete and civil engineering. The EPCM partnership with KCA and KCN is playing a crucial role, ensuring the project stays on track. Silver Tiger's CEO, Glenn Jessome, expressed satisfaction with the project's momentum and looks forward to starting production, which aims to position El Tigre as Mexico's next significant silver and gold producer.
