New Gold-Copper Discovery at Skeena's KSP Property
Skeena Resources Limited has unveiled significant findings from their 2024 exploratory drilling at the KSP Property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. Highlighted by the identification of a large gold-copper porphyry system, the results show consistent mineralization, with one drill hole boasting a notable intercept of 0.71 grams per tonne (gpt) gold over 381.47 metres.
The KSP Property, near Eskay Creek and the Snip Project, now features this newfound porphyry system. During the 2024 drilling season, Skeena completed 22 drill holes across various targets, unveiling previously unrecognized mineralization in the Camp Porphyry area.
Drill hole CP-24-004 was particularly notable, intersecting intervals yielding 0.71 gpt Au, 0.69 gpt Ag, and 0.03% Cu. The porphyry system covers a strike length of about 1,000 meters, with significant potential for expansion through further drilling.
Overall, these findings mark a milestone for Skeena, highlighting the untapped potential within the region.
