ATHA Energy Begins Mobilization for 2026 Angilak Exploration
ATHA Energy Corp has initiated site mobilization for the 2026 Angilak Exploration Program. The mobilization involves the transport of necessary fuel, supplies, and a third diamond drill from Base Diamond Drilling Ltd. Mobilization efforts began in mid-March with ATR planes departing from Yellowknife, Baker Lake, and Rankin Inlet. These planes are landing at Angilak's winter strip.
The exploration program follows a successful funding round, which raised CAD $63 million, positioning ATHA among the best-capitalized uranium exploration companies globally. The 2026 program marks the largest undertaking at Angilak, building on the 2024 and 2025 campaigns that expanded the mineralizing footprint.
ATHA anticipates commencing exploration, including diamond drilling, by late April. This extensive endeavor aims to further explore the prospective regions within the Angikuni Basin.
