SLAM Exploration Reports New Discovery at Goodwin Project
SLAM Exploration Ltd. has disclosed results from its diamond drilling program at the Goodwin Copper-Nickel-Cobalt Project. Notably, a new discovery was made 2,000 meters northwest of the Logan zone. Hole GW26-33 yielded a significant intercept of 14.45 meters grading 1.53% Cu-Eq. Additionally, GW26-36 revealed new sulphide mineralization, indicating the potential to connect deposits at depth.
The 2026 drill program involved 19 NQ-sized diamond drill holes totaling 3,350 meters. This program identified strong mineralization, including a 41.3-meter intercept at 0.76% Cu-Eq from GW26-29. The company received 857 out of 1,070 core sample assays, with further results pending.
SLAM is analyzing findings to fine-tune their exploratory strategy. The potential connection between mineralized zones could enhance the project's value. A detailed interpretive analysis is ongoing to guide future drilling initiatives and understand the mineralization trends.
