Smithson Investment Trust Removed from Official List

On April 16, 2026, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced the removal of Smithson Investment Trust plc from the Official List. This change took effect at 08:00 GMT/BST. The removal affects two types of securities: Ordinary Shares of 1p each with A Rights and with B Rights, both fully paid and categorized as closed-ended investment funds. These shares were previously admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange, a recognized investment exchange.

The FCA's decision is part of a regulatory announcement distributed by EQS Group. The issuer of the regulatory announcement bears sole responsibility for its content. This removal from the Official List should be considered alongside any notices issued by relevant Recognised Investment Exchanges about securities trading on their markets.
