EPC Group strengthens its presence in Australia with a major contract
EPC Group, through its subsidiary Blastcon Australia, has finalized a five-year contract with Ravenswood Gold, strengthening its position in Australia. The agreement includes the acquisition of 16 drill rigs and associated equipment, as well as the integration of over 100 Roc-Drill employees specializing in drilling and blasting. This pool of resources will be dedicated to the Ravenswood gold mine, one of the largest in Queensland.
In parallel, a binding Letter of Intent (LOI) has been signed for drilling services at this site for a similar duration. This represents an estimated annual turnover of over €20 million. These operations will begin on November 4, 2026.
This development, following the recent contract with Blackjack Gold Mine, illustrates EPC Group's continued expansion strategy in the promising Australian market. According to Pascal Lacourie, Regional Director, this initiative strengthens the group's position in a high-value-added sector.
