Sodexo Successfully Issues EUR 1.1 Billion in Bonds
Sodexo has completed the issuance of a euro-denominated bond totalling EUR 1.1 billion. This issuance consists of two tranches: a EUR 600 million tranche with a fixed annual coupon rate of 4.00% maturing in 2032, and a EUR 500 million tranche with a 4.50% annual coupon maturing in 2036.
The proceeds will be allocated for general corporate purposes, notably redeeming an outstanding EUR 800 million bond due in 2027. The new bonds are slated to trade on Euronext Paris, with an expected rating of BBB from Standard & Poor’s and Baa1 from Moody’s.
BNP Paribas and ING Bank, among others, coordinated the issuance. This effort aligns with Sodexo's strategy to enhance liquidity and manage its debt maturity effectively.
