Sparta Capital Ltd. Resolves Financial, Regulatory, and Governance Issues
Sparta Group has announced significant resolutions to its financial, regulatory, and governance matters. The TSX Venture Exchange has completed its review, leading to the reinstatement of Sparta's common shares for trading. Corrections to financial statements revealed changes in the presentation of loan receivables and marketing expenses. Notably, the company corrected a $65,561 negative marketing expense and adjusted cash flow presentations to reflect non-cash transactions accurately.
Furthermore, prior share issuances without full receipt of funds were addressed, with commitments to prevent future occurrences. Sparta Group has also clarified the nature and impact of its past private placements and share issuances.
The company's governance has been strengthened with a new Audit Committee aimed at improving financial oversight. To address working capital deficiencies, Sparta plans to optimize operating performance and secure new financing, but acknowledges uncertainties regarding the success of these efforts.
