Sparta Group Faces Delay in Filing Annual Financial Statements
Sparta Group, listed on TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol SAY.V, has announced a delay in filing its annual financial statements for the year ending September 30, 2025. The company sought a Management Cease Trade Order (MCTO) from the Alberta Securities Commission due to auditor time constraints and ongoing information requests from the Issuer. Initially due by January 28, 2026, Sparta now aims to complete the filings by February 27, 2026.
The MCTO restricts trading of the company's securities by the CEO and CFO until the requirements are met. Sparta will adhere to National Policy 12-203's Alternative Information Guidelines until the filing. The company confirmed no significant business developments have occurred since the latest interim financial report.
