Spring Festival Celebrations Unfold in Suzhou-Style Gardens Worldwide

Suzhou gardens, inspired by the Master of the Nets Garden, have spread across 30 countries since 1980. For this Chinese New Year, these gardens are hosting vibrant Spring Festival celebrations, sharing cultural traditions globally.

In Budapest, visitors enjoyed Kung Fu tea performances, traditional sugar painting, and captivating opera performances. Meanwhile, Portland's Lan Su Chinese Garden featured events like welcoming the God of Wealth and lantern fairs, with cultural products on display and interactive experiences for all.

Vancouver's Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden celebrated its 40th anniversary with workshops, demos, and performances, while Sydney's Chinese Garden of Friendship hosted Kunqu opera and cultural heritage documentaries, fostering a deeper appreciation of Jiangnan culture.
