Stabilus SE Reports FY2026 Results: €67 Million Impairments Affect EBIT
Stabilus SE announced its preliminary fourth-quarter and full-year results for FY2026, highlighting a significant impact from non-cash impairments. The company's EBIT for FY2026 was reduced by roughly €67 million due to goodwill impairments in the Americas, linked to weaker-than-expected demand. As a result, EBIT for the quarter was €−48.1 million, falling short of market expectations of €2.4 million and last year's €5.5 million.
Despite this, revenue and adjusted EBIT for Q4 FY2026 surpassed forecasts. Revenue hit €302.1 million, outperforming the projected €267.4 million. Adjusted EBIT rose to €28.9 million, exceeding market expectations by approximately 32%. The adjusted EBIT margin stood at 9.6%, also above expectations. However, adjusted free cash flow decreased to €39.5 million, missing the anticipated €47.4 million.
For the full fiscal year, Stabilus achieved €1,197.6 million in revenue, meeting its updated guidance. However, the company's proposed dividend was lowered to €0.22 per share from last year's €0.35. Finalized figures will be published on December 7, 2026.
